SIDERISE CVB Acoustic Void Barriers (formerly Lamaphon CVB)

More Information:

SIDERISE CVB acoustic barriers are used in suspended ceiling and raised access floor voids to reduce sound transmission between rooms, designed for freestanding, acoustic performance up to 31dB Rw.

The sound barrier comprises a high-density rockfibre insulation core faced in Class ‘O’ foil. Its interlocking rebate joints help maintain acoustic integrity, it can be supplied without them.

SIDERISE CVB is available in 2 structural forms, HSL special ‘lamella’ construction and SFO conventional, the SFO forms are also available with a central high mass membrane (CVB/P) all forms reduce sound transmission via hidden voids offering potential ‘cross-talk’ paths to adjoining areas, e.g. those formed at partition lines; the cavity formed at floor slab abutments to curtain walls.

The HSL construction offers improved acoustic performance at lower surface weights; it is more compressible assisting friction fitting and deformation around service penetrations.
