A rooflight system for commercial and public buildings. The system consists of prefabricated modular skylights, including profiles, panes, flashing, control systems for natural and smoke ventilation and roller blinds.
Similar to Longlights, Northlights are bands of VELUX modular skylights. The characteristic upright design is primarily for installations that are directed towards the northern hemisphere for soft and reflected lighting. Northlights are ideal for galleries and museums as well as schools, offices and industrial facilities, where direct glare is unwanted. Northlight installations are applicable for pitch of 40–90°.
