Application
Suitable for fixing to either bare concrete or masonry, previously rendered or painted concrete or masonry, or onto a light steel framed or timber framed construction with suitable sheathing board. For new build or refurbishment projects. Can be used on buildings with a storey level up to 11 m above ground level.
Description
A high performance, cost-effective EPS insulation system with a mineralic reinforcing coat. Suitable for a diverse range of substrates including brickwork, blockwork, concrete and various sheathing boards. StoTherm Vario K provides excellent thermal insulation and is ideal for application onto curved substrates.
Adhesively fixed to the wall, this EWI system can be finished with the complete range of Sto weather resistant, vapour permeable, synthetic renders in a variety of textures and over 1,000 colours. Sto Brick Slips or StoDeco Profiles can also be applied for an alternative facade finish.
Some StoTherm Vario systems have been tested using full-scale test methodology as determined in BS 8414 and their performance classified in accordance with the criteria given in BR 135. StoTherm Vario systems are suitable for use on buildings with storeys up to 11 m in height.
