More Information:

SIDERISE RH cavity fire barriers for horizontal application in rainscreen cladding systems, suit air gaps up to 50mm in drained and ventilated facades and offer up to 120mins fire integrity. Tested to recent ASFP Guidance, these fire barriers comprise a non-combustible stone wool lamella core with reinforced aluminium foil faces. The exposed leading edge is also sealed with foil and encapsulated in a weather resistant black polymer film.

An intumescent strip bonded to the leading edge will expand rapidly to fully seal the gap between the barrier and the rear of the cladding in event of exposure to fire, to resist the passage of smoke and fire.

Their use ensures that the system will drain moisture within the façade construction, whilst maintaining airflow.
