SIDERISE FLX a flexible composite acoustic quilt used for free-hanging in ceiling voids above partition lines to significantly reduces sound transmission between rooms, acoustic performance to 23-27dB Rw.

The range of FLX flexible acoustic barriers for suspended ceilings have been developed to improve `room to room’ sound separation via a common ceiling void.

The quilt comprises a central thin flexible membrane, either polymeric (P) or lead foil (L). On each side of the membrane is a Class ‘0’ open cell acoustic foam insulation layer. It is available with two optional features:

• Reinforced foil finish to one side to simplify sealing of service penetrations with self-adhesive foil tapes, and acting as an anti-creep layer
• Internal glass fabric anti-creep layer to prevent long-term elongation. This option is not required if the aluminium foil finish is selected.
• Acoustic performance 23 – 27dB Rw
• DnCw up to 50dB
• ‘Room to room’ sound separation
• Suitable for new build/refurbishment projects
