Protan G PVC single-ply membranes are designed for installation in the Protan Green and Protan Protected systems in warm, cold and inverted roof constructions.
Protan G membranes are manufactured from pliable PVC with a glass fibre carrier. The PVC contains stabilisers, which make the membranes resistant to both high and low temperatures and UV-stable; and a fungicide for added protection against microbial attack.
The membranes are suitable for new-build and refurbishment projects on flat and pitched roofs, as well as forming details in exposed systems and fully adhered up-stands in the Protan Adhered System.
Protan G membranes are usually loose-laid, although they can be supplied with secret-fix strips factory-welded to the reverse side to allow for mechanical fixing.
