Heavy-gauge steel panels and a one-piece bubbler tap make the unit suitable for outdoor installation. It has an attractive powder-coat finish, applied by E-coat immersion technology.

It has a bubbler tap and a bottle filling station, and meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The bottle filler delivers water at a rate of one gallon per minute, utilizing laminar flow for a smooth, mess-free drinking experience. The softly rounded corners and a contoured basin mean that water also drains quickly, preventing any splashing or stagnation despite this fast water flow.

The bubbler is chrome-plated and cast from a one-piece design, providing it with the strength and durability to be suitable for outdoor use as well as indoor. On top of this, the unit features a vandal-resistant push button actuation system, whereby a simple button releases the water, as opposed to a switch or handle which could be twisted or snapped off. A heavy-gauge steel access panel also offers protection against impact from vandals or extreme weather, and anti-vandal screws mean that while access to plumbing connections is easy for authorized persons, it is impossible for anyone else.

The E-coat immersion covering prevents any corrosion or rusting, which could affect the physical appearance of the bottle filling station, and even compromise the cleanliness of the water. E-coat immersion involves an even thickness of paint being applied using electrical charges, both on the inside and outside of the product. This reduces the risk of rust developing and keeps the water pure and free from contamination.

The in-line strainer also helps to keep water clean, and due to this the unit meets the strict criteria of the American NSF/ANSI 61 water hygiene regulations. The strainer, located inside a 10 mm water inlet, prevents any dirt or other contaminants of 0.14 mm or larger form entering the waterways or the drinking bottle. Furthermore, an integral hood design on the one-piece bubbler tap prevents the spread of infections or germs through the close contact involved in everyday drinking from a shared fountain.
