Description
MuteBoard 2 Timber Ceiling is a soundproofing system designed for installation spaces that are concerned with loss of height or are unable to accommodate suspended ceiling systems. MuteBoard 2 is an acoustic barrier that will help to reduce ambient levels of noise and is suitable for typical household or workplace noise issues.
System components:
- Timber joists - supplied by others.
- MuteBoard® 2 soundproof panels.
- Rockwool acoustic mineral wool.
- Acoustic sealant.
Features and benefits:
- Slimline soundproofing for ceilings.
- Additional 10 dB airborne reduction. (perceived as a halving of sound)
- Additional 6 dB of Impact noise reduction.
- The system thickness from the bottom of the joist is 18 mm.
- MuteBoard 2 is a thin soundproofing solution to attenuate airborne noise when looking for an upgrade to standard plasterboard and acoustic plasterboard.
- Rockwool RW slabs can be used for thermal, acoustic and fire-resistant insulation. The slabs are available in a wide range of thicknesses and densities. CE marked to EN 13162 and Euroclass A1 non-combustible.
