Securus AC MK II is the latest advancement in the defence against attacks for High Security Sites. Since LPS 1175 Issue 7 was first published in 2010, attack methods and tools have changed. In 2019, LPCB launched a new standard in the form of LPS 1175 Issue 8. Securus AC MK II is one of the first fencing systems to be tested and certified to this.
Using a new secure fixing system; based on the FenceSafe SR1 clamp bar, the security bars on the panels have zero external fixings. Off-Site assembly of the double layer 358 mesh fence cassettes means that on-site installation times are now three times faster than the Securus AC (SR2) system.
CLD Fencing Systems have even manufactured a new lifting system which allows quick release of the security fencing cassette without the need to work from height. With a cassette weighing just over 165kg for 2.4m high and 203kg for a 3m, the installation is quick and safe using mechanical lifting devices.
