Single leaf sliding automatic opening vent (AOV) for use in stairwell. Smoke Vent is CE marked and complies fully with Construction Products Regulation (2013). Internal dimensions 1000 mm x 1500 mm.
Curb insulation is 60 mm extruded polyurethane. Curb is a double-layer thermoformed polycarbonate dome assembled on a fully welded PVC frame, in which a double layer security glass is inserted.
Cover will have extruded EDPM rubber gasket to ensure a continuous seal when compressed in the front and back of the vent. Operating mechanism is a single rotating actuator mounted on a sliding carriage which opens the cover to 180°.
Factory finish is: clear finish polycarbonate dome, clear finish double layer security glass, white PVC profiles, white powder coated metal profiles, white upstand. Dome tested for impact resistance to EN1873 Class SB1200.
