Application

Suitable for application in:

  • Horizontal, inclined or vertical surfaces
  • Convex, concave surfaces, vaults (single and double), etc.(minimum radius: 500 mm).
  • Seamless surfaces (up to the maximum permissible size of the substrate or substrate structure).

Description

A seamless acoustic ceiling system produced with natural and sustainable materials. The acoustic panel component is made of organic hemp fibres with an open-pored pre-coating of recycled glass granulate.

The panels are adhered to an airtight substrate such as platerboard or concrete, and then plastered for a seamless finish with BASWA acoustic coatings, which are produced with natural marble and hand applied by trowel.

Surface coating options are the same as BASWA Phon: single coat Base or Fine, or two-coat Classic Base, Classic Fine or Classic Top.

Features and benefits:

  • Sound absorption up to αW 0.8/ NRC 0.80, Class B.
  • Fire classification: B-s1, d0 (DIN EN 13501-1).
  • Indoor climate: French VOC Regulation: A+.
  • Fibre and solvent free.
  • System thicknesses: 30/ 40 mm.
  • One or two layer system.
  • Colour shade BASWA Base, Fine and Top: NCS S 0500-N.
  • High whiteness with L-value: up to 92%.
  • Unlimited colour selection (RAL, NCS, etc.).
  • Final coat from coarse structure smoothed (BASWA Base) to ultra smooth (BASWA Top), or completely individual surface design.
  • Eco balance: Sustainable, fast growing and regionally produced hemp fibres.
  • Per cubic metre of hemp plant, approximately 100.75 kg more CO2 is bound than caused (per m² approximately 3 kg CO2).
  • Complete avoidance of herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers in the cultivation of natural fibres.
  • Use of materials that are harmless to health.
  • Extensive cleaning and maintenance concept.
  • The BASWA Natural panels are adhered to a stable, airtight substrate (usually walls, concrete soffit or suspended plasterboard ceilings) with BASWA Fix C or BASWA Fix K, jointed, and sanded flat.
  • A smooth seamless finish is achieved with BASWA marble plaster surface coatings.
