Sahara LITE is made to order and manufactured from sand, white cement, light weight aggregates and most importantly, graded wood particle (GWP). This enables the raw materials to bind together very tightly to give a smooth even finish. GWP is a “true” recycled material that we source from local timber mills. It also provides the blocks with increased insulation properties whilst reducing their weight.
 
The blocks are particularly suited for use in internal applications and the surface finish is less abrasive than most dense masonry blocks. This makes them particularly suitable for use in public areas such as schools, sports facilities, corridors and the like. They can be used externally but in such cases we would recommend that they are positioned in sheltered aspects.
