A range of walkways designed to provide a level, anti-slip means of traversing roofs – including corrugated and standing seam roof constructions – for access and maintenance. A safety tread incorporated in the top plank provides safe footing, even in wet conditions.

WalkSafe® modular panels are manufactured, to order, from extruded unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U). The panels are clipped together on-site using integral fasteners. Fixing through the roof membrane is not required under normal conditions.

When used on flat roofs, the roof deck must comply with BS 629. When used over roof waterproofing membranes, the waterproofing layer should have a minimum static indentation rating of L3, when tested to MOAT No 27:1983, to ensure sufficient resistance to damage.

Accessories include:

• Fall-proof covers: When used over fragile roofing materials in roof valleys or at parapets and north-light roofs, provide suitable protection to the material, enabling it to meet the requirements of CDM Regulations and the recommendations of HS/ G33 'Health and Safety in Roof Work'.
• Rooflight covers: Provide passive/ collective protection where access close to potentially fragile roof lights is required.
