A 'traditional' rigid masonry support system comprising of fixed brackets welded to a stainless steel angle support shelf. Suitable for cavity widths from 50mm and can carry over 8 metres of brickwork
Supports the outer leaf masonry material on steel or concrete framed structures. This allows for differential movement between sectional masonry panels in tall buildings and can be utilised instead of a lintel in larger openings over 3.6 metres (with suitable substrate).
IG’s Welded Masonry Support (WMS) is a ‘traditional’ rigid masonry support system comprising of fixed brackets welded to a stainless steel angle support shelf.
It is designed to accommodate loads up to 22 kN/m and suitable for cavity widths from 50-290 mm. IG WMS is designed and manufactured to engineers’ specifications on a project basis and offers two planes of adjustability onsite. The material content of the system is optimized to ensure the most economical solution is designed.
