Bostik A200 Power Showerproof is a water resistant, thin-bed adhesive specifically designed for fixing wall tiles in areas where movement/ vibration exists. In addition, it can be applied to most types of sound interior surfaces, including plaster, cement rendering, plasterboard, old glazed tiles, wood and wood composite panels. It is suitable for use in kitchen and bathroom areas subject to frequent and prolonged wetting, and for domestic shower walls, when applied by the solid bed method.
It is not impervious, however, and in such cases the backgrounds must also be water resistant. For areas of permanent immersion, such as swimming pools, the use of a cementitious adhesive from the Bostik range is recommended, e.g. Bostik OPF.
