Application

Suitable for water-resistant floors/ tiled floors on timber in bathrooms, toilets and kitchens and structural, acoustic and fire-rated floors within light gauge steel load-bearing framed buildings.

Description

Max 4 Therm composite metal reinforcing and stiffening sheets are typically installed over existing timber floors to level, strengthen and stiffen to give the feel of a concrete floor. This system can incorporate underfloor heating pipes to provide wet underfloor heating. Available in a 10 mm or 20 mm profile height.


Features and benefits:

  • The system will provide acoustic separation between floors with the addition of a 5 mm acoustic mat.
  • Floor loads start at a relatively low 25 kg/m².
  • Low weight but with high loadbearing capabilities.
  • Low final floor thickness.
  • Self-levelling reinforced floor covering.
  • Non-flammable.
  • Ideal for wet or electric under floor heating systems.
