2D Detail

A welded wire ladder-type reinforcement used to improve the structural performance of masonry walls by providing additional resistance to lateral loads. Can be used to reduce the risk of cracking either at stress concentrations around openings or as a result of movement.

Features:

• Manufactured from corrosion-resistant Austenitic stainless steel.
• Suitable for internal and external masonry leaves.
• Flattened longitudinal wires to simplify lapping.
• Available in two wire diameters (3 mm and 5 mm).
• Shaped cross wires ensure longitudinal wires are located in the centre of a bed joint.
• 2700 mm standard length.
• Two standard widths - 60 mm wide for 100-125 mm brick/block, 100 mm wide for 140-150 mm block.
• CE’ marked to BS EN 845-3.
