Increased height range per pedestal. Injection moulded four-part polypropylene unit designed to support suspended paving slabs.

Weight bearing capacity up to 683 kg per unit. A loose laid system, the weight of the slab holds the system in place. Base plate diameter 200 mm, with threaded stem unit and nut fixing and head plate. The head plate is 120 mm diameter with four lug fittings moulded into it. The lugs are 2.2 mm wide and 18 mm high. Lugs separate the paving slabs and create a straight paving guide. Rainwater drains between and beneath the slabs.

The stem unit contains a threaded section so the height of the pedestal can be adjusted by up to 35 mm per unit. Pedestal heights available from 10 mm up to 365 mm high. Extension shank required for all heights above 220 mm. Lug widths available are 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm thick. Lug height available at 10 mm for thinner tiles.

Special mini-bases at 150 mm diameter are available for paving up to walls and upstands. Metal balance beams also used under baseplates to hold a vertical step / skirting tile between deck and paving slab. 2.5 mm acoustic shims available to fit onto headpieces. Slope correctors of 1%, 2% and 3% available to click under the baseplate to keep the pedestal completely vertical on larger gradients.
