The NBS Templates for Autodesk® Revit® are project or family template files which have been pre-loaded with the shared parameters required by the NBS BIM Object Standard.
The templates can be used to streamline the adoption of the NBS BIM Object Standard by eliminating the need to load each shared parameter individually, and manually sort the property into the correct group. When used alongside the NBS Shared Parameters file the Autodesk Revit templates will aid you in providing consistent data standards and parameter GUIDs across your BIM ready business.
To use the template files, simply download the zip file containing the set of templates and save them to your templates folder for the next time you create a Revit family or start a new project. To create a new system family, such as wall or floor assemblies, simply open the project template, navigate to the desired type in the project browser and copy it into your current project. For a list of which templates are available and the suitable uses for each template, please see the table below.
