V-Gard™ Vapor Control layer.

Guidance for specification option:

Elevate V-Gard Vapor Control Membrane is designed to be used as a vapour control layer in Elevate roofing systems. It consists of a reinforced aluminium foil with self-adhesive bituminous backing protected by a release film. The fibreglass reinforcement makes it suitable for applications that involve high mechanical stresses. The Elevate V-Gard membrane can be installed on concrete, wood and steel deck.

Elevate ISOGARD AK insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyiso (PIR) foam core laminated on both sides to a gastight multi-layered aluminium complex.

ISOGARD MG PIR Insulation.

Guidance for specification option:

Thermal conductivity: 0.025–0.028 W/m.K.

Thickness: 30–160 mm. Insert requirements.


Elevate ISOGARD MG insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyiso (PIR) foam core laminated on both sides to a gasopen mineral glassfibre facer.

RESISTA AK PIR Insulation.

Guidance for specification option:

Thermal conductivity: 0.023 W/m.K.

Manufacturer guidance

A flexible thermoplastic polyolefin membrane, incorporating ethylene-propylene rubber into a polypropylene matrix, with a polyester weft-inserted scrim reinforcement, manufactured in an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 registered facility.

ASTM D 6878-2013/ EN 13956 (CE Mark).

7500 hrs of Artificial Ageing as per EN 1297.

Guidance for specification option:

Spacing of the plates and/or fasteners differs to accommodate for wind loadings and are positioned according to the parameters of the wind load calculation based on local or international standards.

150 mm minimum overlap with welded seam for mechanical fixation side.

UltraPly TPO Walkway Pads.

Guidance for specification option:

A 762 mm wide walkway made of flexible thermoplastic polyolefin and produced with a polyester weft inserted reinforcement. It has a white, textured, slip-resistant top surface. It is required to protect the roofing system from damage in areas with intensive rooftop traffic (hatches, doorways, ladders and roofs subject to periodic traffic for maintenance of technical equipment, etc.).

Pipes

Pipe penetrations: Flash with pre-moulded UltraPly TPO Pipe Flashing, Field flashing using UltraPly TPO Unsupported Flashing or UltraPly TPO Penetration Pocket Kit.

Outlets

Drains: Install Water Block Sealant between membrane and outlet bowl. Secure membrane mechanically to outlet using integral clamping ring.

Drains: Insert outlet bedded on Water Block Sealant. Secure and flash with QuickSeam Flashing.

Walls

Wall terminations: Termination bar, fastened with Water Block Sealant and GP Sealant installed along top edge.

Guidance for specification option:

@200mm (maximum) o.c.

Wall terminations: Metal batten bar fastened with surface mounted or inserted metal counter flashing protection.

Guidance for specification option:

@150mm (maximum) o.c.

Wall terminations: Metal capping or concrete coping stones.

Wall terminations: Edge trim formed from UltraPly TPO Coated Metal.

Guidance for specification option:

An edge trim will be prefabricated using UltraPly TPO Coated Metal and installed with fasteners @ maximum 200 mm centres. The UltraPly TPO roofing membrane will be sealed to the trim by hot-air welding.

Wall termination: Preformed metal edge trim.
