Ceiling system of material laid in a grid of inverted steel or aluminium T sections which are exposed to view. Tiles and panels come in a variety of materials such as mineral, metal and plaster, usually in a standard size of 1200 x 600mm or 600 x 600mm. Insulation placed above the ceiling can provide acoustic and thermal properties.
